Questions about the Bible:

How can we know that the Bible really God's word to us?

Questions about God:

How can I please God? Some believe their personal sacrifice is the way to please God, but they are wrong.  Living a "good" life and making great sacrifice will not in itself please God. The Old Testament was filled with sacrifice, but these were not offered to try and please God. They were offered to honor God's son, Jesus Christ. The prophet Micah tells us how to please God. It is not with sacrifices. It is not with our thithes or offerings. It is "to do justly, and love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God". (Micah 6:6-8) Paul said the same thing in Galatians 2:16. "By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." And again in Ephesians 2:8&9, "You are justified by faith. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man (or woman) should boast."

Questions about Jesus:

Why did Jesus have to die?

How can Jesus save us?

How do I know God has accepted the sacrifice of Christ as "payment in full" for my sins? Because on the third day God raised Jesus from the dead as proof of God's satisfaction with what His son had done. (to be continued)

Questions about the "Last Days"

Who is the Anti-Christ? The Anti-Christ will be a world military leader who will conquer many nations in the name of world peace. By many he will be hailed as a hero. He says he will bring world peace.  Israel will be in their land, the temple will have been rebuilt and will serve as the center of Jewish worship of God.  Coming back from a military campaign "the hero" will stop at Jerusalem. The world will not fear this as his proclaimed plan is to visit the temple to worshid God. However, when he goes to the temple he will declare himself as God, demand universal worship, and order that anyone who does not accept his diety and mark will not be allowed to buy or sell. Godly jews will flee to the mountains, God will send plagues, armies will gather at Armageddon, and all hell will break loose. (to be continued)

When will Jesus return?

Questions about Eternity:

Will the church go through the Great Tribulation? No! The church of true believers will leave this earth in an instant, in less than the bat of an eye, in what we call the "Rapture", which will happen before the Great Tribulation begins. (to be continued)

What must I do to be saved? In the dark of night, Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, came to Jesus and asked, "What must I do to have eternal life?" Jesus answered using a example from the Old Testament. When Moses lifted up a bronse serpent in the wilderness all the Jews who looked upon this symbol of sin were healed. In faith Moses lifted it up, in faith the people believed and looked, and by faith they were given life. Jesus told Nicodemus that in the same way he, Jesus, would be made sin by God the Father, and would be lifted up and nailed to the cross.  All who looked on that cross, and believed in their heart that Jesus would save them, will have eternal life. (Numbers 21:8-9 and John 3:14-15)

So it is today. "Believe only on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Rom 3:21-22 & 10:9)

After I die, then what happens?

Is there life after death?  Yes, the bible says it, I believe it, and that's good enough for me. (to be continued)

When will eternity begin? As we read in the Bible Answer about Heaven and Hell, eternity starts at death. Eternal suffering or eternal joy.  Additionally, we read in Revelation Chapters 21 & 22 that this earth as we know it will be changed. Eternity will begin here on earth. Evil will be destroyed, heaven will abide here on earth, "and there shall be no night, and they will need no lamp, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light and they shall reign forever and ever. (Rev 22:5) Forever and ever is eternity!

Are Heaven and Hell real places? The Bible says they are and that's good enough for me.

Hell is a place of darkness, agony and torment. Jesus said in John 16:19-26 that "a certain rich man" is there, and when he pleaded that a warning be sent to his family, Abraham replied from heaven that they had the Bible to warn them. If they didn't believe the Scriptures, "neither would they believe though one rise from the dead". And, who would that be? Satan, who now roams the earth seeking whom he can devour (1Pet 5:8), will be cast into hell in Rev 20, "and shall (along with all the others there) be tormented day and night forever and ever." I don't know about you, but I'm glad I'm not going there.

Heaven is a place of many mansions (John 14:1-4) where Jesus lives. The Apostle Paul was given a view of heaven (2 Cor 12:1-2), and the church of believers will be there as we read in Rev 4:1-4.

What we Believe!

We believe there is a God, that this God created us and all the world around us. We believe this God has chosen to communicate with us, to give us this Bible so we may learn things about him we could not otherwise know.

However, before any of us can receive any benefit from the Answers God has given us in the Bible, we must first believe that God exists and that the Bible is His book.

At "Bible Answers" we believe God exists, and we believe the Bible is the only book God ever wrote, (Heb 11:6). We believe that if we are ever going to know and understand  God we need to know what the Bible says so we don't get lost on the highway to heaven.

What Do You Believe?

If you don't believe in God, what do you believe in??

What choices do you have???

If you don't believe that God exists you are left with only a few other choices. You might believe that all this world around us was created by some eternal  process of evolution. Or, you might believe all this that we see around us came about accidentally from some massive cosmic explosion, the "Big Bang Theory" and that life just developed from non-life.

There are some problems with these "Theroies"

If you believe in the theory of evolution,  you still have to explain where the original, single cell life form came from that started it all.  Who created this original single cell of life?    If the theory of ageless  evolution is your belief, then where is the evidence that this evolution of species is still continuing today?

If you believe in the "Big Bang Theory" there seems to be a problem that in all of recorded history man has never seen life created out of non-life.

How did this first single cell of life originate? If it did not originate from non-life then who made it?  Could it be that God made it?? Maybe he even made it just as the Bible has said, that we are created "In His image and likeness"?

But,  if there is no God to make life, if life just developed from some chemical or atomic reaction and "Sha-Zam"  life just sprung from non-life: Then why have we, as smart as we are, not been able to do it again?

Do you believe this orderly and precise world resulted accidentally from some uncontrolled cataclysmic event?  It is hard to believe that any thoughtful observation of the world around us can support such a suggestion. It would be easier for us to believe that all the great classics of poetry and literature miraculously resulted from some unsupervised, uncontrolled, "Big Bang" explosion in a print shop, than to believe all we are and all we see is all just an accident of nature.

It seeems  unreasonable to believe in a world without God, but if you do, then this web site is probably not for you. On the other hand, if you have questions about the God who created this world, welcome to:

WHAT  WE  BELIEVE

We believe in God.  We believe God created us to live and enjoy this life.  We believe God is eternal, and that after our life here on earth is finished, God wants us to come home and enjoy eternity with him.  We believe God is HOLY and because he is holy, neither sin nor sinful man can be allowed to be with him. We believe both our sin and our sin nature separates us from God, and keeps us out of heaven.  But, Praise God, we believe this eternal, all powerful God has reached out to us to tell us things about himself and his plan to rescue sinful man out of the punishment of eternal death, and into the presence of his eternal life.  Our Bible tells us things about God that we could not otherwise know, and shows us the way to this eternal life.  We believe God has given us his word, written down and preserved for us today in the Bible. We believe the Bible we hold in our hands today is this "Word of God",  and by reading and understanding it we may come to know God and find our way home.

STATEMENT of FAITH

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God given to us. We believe  that each of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). All we  like sheep have gone astray and wandered far from God (Isaiah 53:6). We believe God so loves us that He sent His only begotten Son to this earth to suffer and die so that whosoever believes in his heart that Jesus Christ suffered and died for their sins shall receive forgiveness of their sins and  will be brought back into God's family (John 3:16).

Because we have trusted Jesus Christ for our salvation we know  that  when this life is done, we will join God in heaven for eternity.  You can read all about it in John 14: 2-3.

THE  REALITY  of  LIFE

We are born, and we shall die, but death will not be the end of us.  Each of us will spend eternity somewhere.  Some will spend eternity in heaven, with the God who created us, enjoying all the benefits heaven has to offer - forever!  However, Jesus has told us in Matthew 7:13-14 that many will spend eternity in hell, with Satan and his demons, enduring  pain and suffering - forever!  How we spend the "forever"  part of our life depends on what decisions we make in the "here and now" part of our life.

God does not send anyone to hell.  hell, in fact, was not created for man but for those angels who in the long ago past, rebelled against God (2Pet 2:4).  But, due to the rejection of God's word by Adam and Eve in time past, and our own present  rejection of God's offer of redemption, we are, each of us, guilty of rejecting God and we are ourselves on the road to hell  -  unless someone saves us.  The good news is that someone has offered to save us!  God tells us in His word  about the saving provision He has made for each of us, and how we can each  receive our own assurance of eternal life and find the place God has made  for us in our heavenly home.  God's  word, the Bible, shows us the way back to Him, and it is for that reason we want to share God's  word with our visitors. Make no mistake about it - Jesus Christ died for you!!!!

You can choose where you  will spend eternity.  As  for me and my house, we have chosen to spend our eternity in heaven with God (Joshua 24:15).

What many folks do not realize is that NOT making a choice is itself making a choice.  A choice not to choose God is in fact a choice to reject Him, and His plan for  us to spend our eternal life with Him.  It is a choice that will send one  into eternal suffering. The Bible makes it very clear, rejection of God's word will cause us to miss out on the blessings of heaven and consign a person to an eternity of suffering in hell. Once there, it will be too late to choose again!  Don't make that mistake.  Find your map and God's  road to redemption in the Bible.
